Why did I start this business?
After journeys through more than 100 countries, I discovered that the travel industry often misses the mark by offering cookie-cutter itineraries and flashy hotels instead of authentic experiences. I started Expeditioner to address these gaps—because true luxury isn’t about a glittering facade, but about immersive adventures that connect you with a destination’s people, culture, and soul. My firsthand travels taught me that every journey should be as unique as the traveler, maximizing enjoyment through genuine, life-enriching experiences.
My Travel Style
My travel style is purpose-driven and deeply immersive. I avoid bucket lists, choosing instead to experience the world through its people, their stories, history, food, music, culture, and religion. For me, travel is about establishing connections and understanding the essence of a place through its human and cultural diversity.
My Expertise
I have an academic foundation in law and anthropology, combined with 20 years of professional experience in procuring goods and services globally. Today I bring these diverse perspectives to my role as a travel advisor.
As an avid traveller, I have lived in many different parts of the world, such as Spain, Egypt, London, Switzerland, and I am fluent in several languages. I feel most comfortable in Europe, the Middle East & Central Asia, and Latin America. Cruising, Alpine skiing, hiking and ancient civilisations are some of my passions.
